Magnets are widely available from online retailers or auction sites like eBay. Just search for the size you need, and you’ll usually find multiple options in your country.
The magnet holes are modelled without tolerances for a snug fit. Print accuracy and magnet sizing can vary slightly between manufacturers. If the fit is too tight, a small round file will help. If it’s too loose, a tiny drop of superglue works well. Alternatively, you can adjust the files in your preferred 3D software to better suit your specific conditions.
The table near the bottom on our BaseLok page provides magnet size and quantity information. We recommend sourcing high grade Neodymium magnets where possible, but anything N42 and stronger should be sufficient in most situations.
